How to Crawl

The 2016 Sacramento Archives Crawl will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 8.  Here's what you need to know to have a great crawl:
Where to Begin
You can begin at any one of our four host locations, where you will pick up your passport:

California State Archives (1020 O Street)
California State Library (900 N Street)
Center for Sacramento History (551 Sequoia Pacific Blvd)
Sacramento Public Library (Tsakopoulos Library Galleria, Central Library, 828 I Street)
How to Get Around
Whether you decide to make your way between sites by foot, car or shuttle (or some combination thereof), we have you covered.  Our free parking options and shuttle schedule are the same as the previous two years and can be found here: Transportation and Parking Options.

How to Take Part in the Scavenger Hunt
This year we will be offering a scavenger hunt for students in grades K-12 and adults.  Your passport will include the hunt questions and instructions. Learn more here: Scavenger hunt for all ages.

How to Enter the Free Prize Drawings
Enter to win at Central Library. Prizes this year include several subscriptions through, a Minelab gold panning kit, a package from Lagunitas Brewing Company (for ages 21 and up), and a big gift box of archival goodies.
