The Sacramento Archives Crawl is an Archives Month event held every October. Crawlers tour among four host archives in Sacramento, gathering stamps in their passports as they view treasures from dozens of archives and special collections libraries, visit with archivists, and go on special behind-the-scenes tours. The 2024 Crawl will be held on Saturday, October 5, from 10 am to 4 pm at the Central Library, State Library, State Archives, and Center for Sacramento to History.

2016 bookmarks arriving soon
Sacramento Archives Crawl bookmarks featuring this year's theme, "A Thirst for History," are coming soon to an archives near you. In addition to a great image of fishing along the Feather River in the 1890s, the bookmarks give Crawl basics, including the event date and time along with host locations. We've sent the 2016 bookmarks out to the printer, and they will be available at local archives in a couple weeks. Pick up a few and share with your friends!
